Light Path Therapy Centre is seeking a freelance Speech and Language Therapist to join our team and provide specialized care for children with speech and language disorders.
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping children overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders in children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs and goals of each child.
- Provide oneonone therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and social communication skills.
- Utilize evidencebased practices and therapeutic techniques to enhance speech and language development.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy and promote consistent progress.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate and train parents on strategies and techniques to support their child's communication development at home.
- Stay uptodate with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech therapy, incorporating new techniques and technologies into practice when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Proven experience working with children with speech and language disorders.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapeutic techniques, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with children and their families.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a supportive and encouraging environment for children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
