THE ROLE:

Report to:
Director of Trading, Raw Materials (Shanghai)

Management of company's recycled metals business, business development, customer service and accounts receivable management, including:

Set up and manage the Recycled Metals Division in Singapore
Establish the business processes and internal controls
Formulate annual business plans, targets and the team's key performance targets in alignment with Head Office's business requirements
Assess and manage the corresponding risks associated with the business
On board new customers, maintain existing customer relationships and accounts
Manage company's SPOT and Futures positions, conduct market research and establish market outlook
Responsible for the management and recovery of account receivables associated with the business, including dispute resolution (where necessary)
Adherence to internal audit requirements, including process review and personnel training, as well as management reporting requirements
Close collaboration across teams within the company
Ensure safe conduct of the business in alignment with Company's culture
Other tasks as required by Company Management

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or higher, major in Finance and International Trade preferred;
More than 5 years of relevant experience in non-ferrous metals/international trade;
Good knowledge of the recycled metals business, ability to manage the commercial and operational aspects, as well as the pressures of the running the business
Possess excellent management experience and be able to effectively manage the team.
Able to effectively communicate (written/spoken) in mandarin with both colleagues and counterparties in China
