- Handle full or partial sets of accounts (Accounts Receivables and/or Accounts Payables).
- Prepare and process payments, receipts and journals.
- Prepare bank reconciliation and audit schedules.
- Prepare timely submission and analysis of quarterly forecasts and utilization to funding agencies.
- Prepare, review, and analyse financial and management report.
- Maintain fixed assets register, create asset, process disposal, perform reconciliation of fixed asset ledger balance to the general ledger and perform monthly depreciation calculation.
- Assist in yearly asset verification exercise.
- Support audits which include preparation of reports, extraction of documents and information.
- Assist in the implementation of system enhancement, IT projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP S/4 accounting system will be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, experience with Grant Accounting will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to set priorities with a strong sense of responsibility to complete tasks within timeline.
- Good analytical, communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Self-driven, meticulous and independent, and a valuable team player who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
