    Roles & Responsibilities

    Reporting to the APAC Head of Finance directly, you shall be responsible for below.

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive digitization strategy for finance operations, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
    • Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance of digitized finance processes, continuously evaluating and optimizing for improvement.
    • Key liaison with internal IT support and end-to-end issue resolution process which can arise from technical, data or process gap for IFRS 17 in UAT and Production testing environment.
    • Engage with clients to understand their specific requirements and tailor digitization solutions to meet their needs effectively.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate digital tools and platforms into existing financial systems, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.
    • Monthly / Quarterly Review of Financial Statement including Variance Analysis and preparation of Cost Budgets and P&L Projections.
    • Day to Day Finance operations Vendor Payments, Inter Company Payments, Employee payments.
    • Prepare GST computation, Corporate Tax, and submission with IRAS.
    • Reviewing Payroll filings like CPF, Employee annual Income filings.
    • Liaise with external auditors and tax agent for all statutory and regulatory requirements
    • Responsible for Price Negotiation for Vendor contracts.
    • Evaluate current financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for digitization and automation.
    • Liaising with offshore Teams including accounts receivable, payable, credit control, investment, re-insurance, etc.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate digital tools and platforms into existing financial systems, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.
    • Streamline financial processes through automation, standardization, and optimization, minimizing manual intervention and improving productivity.
    • Lead change initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of digital solutions among finance teams, providing training and support as needed.
    • Ensure that digitized finance processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, mitigating risks associated with data security and financial integrity.
    • Willingness to learn and develop expertise on the new accounting standard IFRS 17
    • Provide support in IFRS17 related audit matters.
    • Provide accurate and timely financial information, including accrual entries processing, statements closing, accounts consolidation, business modelling for budgeting, forecasting and product profitability, etc.
    • Develop and ensure implementation of the accounting procedures and policies to ensure compliance with local statutory standards and practices.
    • Liaise with external and internal auditors on finance matters.
    • Review, analyze and advise the management on Company's cash flow and other financial matters
    • Actively engage with the business to understand financial statement performance and identify trends, take proactive approach to align continuous improvement projects with financial objectives.
    • Participate in government surveys, generate, prepare and submit reports required by the statutory boards, e.g., MAS, Income Tax and Company Registry, and management on a monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad-hoc basis.

    Job Requirements:

    • A recognized Degree in any related discipline.
    • At least 10 years of experience and least 5 years of hands-on experience in similar role in the IT industry.
    • Excellent analytical skills and decision making, meticulous with attention to details.
    • Self-motivated, committed and possess high level of integrity.
    • Independent and a fast leaner, able to grasp processes and system quickly.
    • Good presentation, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
    • Able to work within datelines and under pressure.
