Role

Assist to lead, develop and grow the Engineering team into a high-performing team

Translate business requirements and product roadmap into practical software architectures and requirements

Design and implement solutions

Guide and train team on coding related matters

Plan sprints and ensure quality code is delivered on time

Work on mission-critical systems with high requirements on availability, reliability and performance

Monitor reliability and performance of systems to suggest improvements

Collaborate with DevOps team to improve processes

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in an Engineering, Computer Science or other technical field

At least 5 years of experience in software development/engineering

At least 1 year of experience managing a team of at least 5 engineers

Experience with Java Spring Boot, SQL and NoSQL (ideally Redis and Cassandra) databases, and message queues
