Service Technician - Singapore - Fisher & Paykel Appliances Ltd

The Role

Perform service calls, repairs and installations of major home appliances that are both in warranty and out of warranty in customer homes, dealer showrooms or warehouses, and other designated locations while providing "best in class" customer service

Maintain and manage van stock of spare parts inventory to ensure first time job completion

Complete all e-paperwork, e-forms, and other documents as they relate to service work

Evaluate the products, determine the course of repairs, and provide an accurate estimate of such repairs to the customers

Once estimate is approved, repair and fully test the operation of the product ensuring a satisfactory/quality repair

Successful collection of all monies due from the customer for service provided using POS equipment

Banking of all company monies collected during repair / installations

Ensure all revenue collected matches with the service work completed and ensure proper documentation for reconciliation

Develop and maintain superior product knowledge through all training media, service manuals, and training sessions

"Design to fit" installation and installation of Domestic Appliances

Follow the company Health and Safety framework at all times, ensuring compliance with the Company policies and behaviours

Assist in ad-hoc duties as and when assigned


Job Requisites:
Minimum NITEC Electrical and knowledge of HVAC

3-5 years with installation and appliance repair and troubleshooting experience

Basic wireless knowledge and computer

Ability to read/interpret/understand documents in English

Must possess a valid driver license

Currently residing in Singapore
