Care Corner Singapore Ltd was founded in 1981, in a climate of changes in the early 1980s, as economic competition in the region intensified and the rift between the wealthy and the lower-income in particular the Chinese blue-collar workers, widened.
Rev Tan Tien Ser and a group of passionate individuals believed that these marginalised people with lower income and little opportunities for a formal education could be helped to realise their potential and become more competent and fulfilled persons.
Through a series of early outreach initiatives, Care Corner has evolved into an organisation offering a wide range of programmes and services delivered through various social service centres located island-wide.

- Responsible for facilities management (including security matters) and equipment/resource management to maintain an optimal office working environment, overseeing procurementrelated matters to facilitate centralized procurement and bulk purchase, handling compliant monitoring and insurance matters (public liabilities & motor vehicles). Assisting Head/CGA in finance matters, identifying improvement areas in admin processes and providing cluster admin support to increase work efficiency of admin function.
- Responsible for all tenancy management activities and be the key point of contact for existing/new tenants and the building management office.
- Supervise all term contractors including coordination of fire drills, annual shutdown, other inspections, attend to repairs/breakdowns, security and safety matters.
- Oversee resource booking (room reservation, AV & other equipment) and provide support to users during meetings/events
- Coordinate and put up submissions for the centralized procurement activities (including bulk contract, centralized procurement/payment and recommended vendor list) and provide support to Centre renovation projects.
- Assist in complaint management and reporting
- Attend to insurance matters on public liabilities and motor vehicles insurance claims
- Identify areas of improvements in procurement and office administration processes
- Act as Finance ePR submitter/verifier for CGA or centralized transactions and take on role as GeBiz rep for the organization
- Any other duties as instructed
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or degree
- 35 years of relevant experience in related fields such as facilities management, procurement, project management and office administration; supervisory experience preferred.
- Relevant experience in handling facilities management, procurement matters or customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Ability to operate simple AV/IT equipment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Attention to detail, independent and service oriented
- Able to handle light physical tasks
- Able to attend to emergencies (e.g breakdowns) at odd hours
