Desktop Publishing - receiving & checking of all editorial completed pages (English, Chinese, Malay & Tamil) as well as overseas publications

Electronic transmission of completed pages to the designated print sitesLiaison with Marketing and Editorial on day-to-day page flow and advertising material issuesGraphic enhancement using Adobe Photoshop Application for both editorial and advertising imagesUpdating & creation of shipping schedule and obituary ad make-up using Adobe InDesign ApplicationReceiving and quality check of all in-coming advertisements from advertising agenciesProvide feedback to Marketing department if advertisement material submitted does not conform to printing specificationsAssign copy instruction for all advertisementsFiling, sorting and housekeeping of all advertising materials and newspapersTraining will be providedRequirements:
Able to operate Windows or Mac OSNTC or Nitec Graphic Reproduction and knowledge of Adobe Applications (InDesign & Photoshop) will be an added advantageGood knowledge of colour management and experience in digital imaging is preferred5-day week with night and day shift rotation (PH and Weekends included, with rotational off-days


Day shift:
830am to 6pm, Night shift: 5:30pm to 3am with transport provided)Company information
