Accountant - Central Region

Job summary

Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of monthly and quarterly management accounts of the Singapore entities, including preparation of detailed reports on financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall accounting processes, including but not limited to AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, intercompany recharges, accruals etc
• Review GST/VAT returns on a quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with local tax regulations across assigned jurisdictions
• Process payments on a monthly basis including vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and intercompany settlements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and approval workflows.
• Monitor cashflows and make projections to ensure cash adequacy, including forecasting cashflows
• Support annual forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties (eg. accounting service providers, external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities) across jurisdictions, where required
• Support and ensure compliance with local statutory filing requirements (eg. direct and indirect tax, statutory audits) across jurisdictions
• Any other ad hoc tasks or projects assigned

Qualifications

• You have a diploma / degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with ACCA / CA preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, with hands-on experience in managing accounting workflows and financial modules
• At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience and in similar capacity
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, meticulous, efficient, resourceful with strong follow-through and passion to \
