Posting Date: 8 Feb 2024The research fellow is expected to be the scientific lead for impact assessment, programme evaluation, and implementation research (IEI) in the Health Service Research Unit (HSRU) in Singapore General Hospital (SGH).

HSRU is the enabler for health services research in support of the vision and strategies for research in SGH. This includes supporting SGH Research Peaks and other research areas. As an enabler of research, HSRU is committed to making research easy and fun.

Key responsibilities:

Engage internal and external stakeholders to understand healthcare intervention programmes to implement or to evaluate
Oversee the design, planning, and execution of implementation research or programme evaluation
Supervise research associates to carry out specific activities of implementation research studies or programme evaluation
Provide methodological consultation for other health services research studies

Requirements:

A PhD degree in health services research, public health, or any other relevant academic discipline.
Interest in and experience of working with nonresearch stakeholders (e.g., health service providers and managers).
Track record of publications of health services research in peerreviewed journals as a main author.
Proficiency in using at least one type of data analysis software and preferably in using both a qualitative analysis software (e.g., Nvivo) and a statistical analysis software (e.g., R, STATA, SPSS).
Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
Excellent interpersonal skill and ability to work both independently and in a team.
Highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and a serviceoriented attitude.
Fully vaccinated against Covid1 3041
