About the Team


The Workday Global Channels & Strategic Initiatives Team is responsible for driving indirect pipeline and revenue with our partner ecosystem.

We are a cross functional team supporting the recruiting, onboarding, enablement, sales execution, and customer delivery motions of our partners.

About the Role

The Channel Director, ASEAN will be responsible for driving go-to-market engagements with our partner ecosystem in ASEAN.

We have more than 200 partners worldwide that are actively growing our customer base and an increasing revenue stream that is sourced by this partner community.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the evolution and execution of our channel program
  • Identify new partnership opportunities across resellers, consulting partners, system integrators, and advisory partners. Initially, primary focus will be on building the Channel network for Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Develop a plan to enhance these partnerships and accelerate new business acquisition by truly understanding the sweet spot of each partner and then developing relationships and business plans accordingly
  • Enable and/or support the development of new initiatives in cooperation with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Partners and other internal teams to drive new monetization.
  • Establish and maintain critical relationships within the assigned partners with specific emphasis toward growing that partner business and increasing high quality lead flow
  • Represent the interests of the assigned partners to drive engagement and focus internally
  • Be accountable for the channel sales target and forecast
  • Ensure 'Customer First' type of thinking for all partner planning.
  • Ensure commitment from the partners for revenue goals, pipeline development, focus and capabilities critical for GTM and customer success
About You

  • Passionate builder with success stories on execution excellence
  • Focused on customer & partner success with Ownership
  • Have SaaS software sales, or channel sales management experience
  • Previous success of managing partner relationships, including building & executing joint business plans
  • Success with Channel motions and partners in ASEAN
  • Ideally will have domain expertise in selling to the office of CFO and CHRO
