Job Description

• Produce interactive digital interfaces using latest technologies and frameworks
• To ensure mobile responsiveness on all delivered products
• To ensure web assets (e.g., CSS, images, and javascript) are optimized for high performance score.
• Work together with the designer team to produce modern designs catering for good user experience without compromising functional implementation
• To resolve UI bugs caused by browser-compatibility issues or client/server-side logic
• Work together with development team to transform design mock-ups into functional application pages
• To apply design changes on existing products as per client requirements
• Multi-task and work efficiently under pressure, with careful attention to detail
• Work with the other team members in the project team to ensure deadlines are met
• Participate in team stand-ups and provide updates on status of work items in progress
• Utilize best practices to develop applications in a sustainable, scalable process

Requirements

• Must have minimum of 2 years professional experience in web application development using common front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g. bootstrap, jquery, etc)
• Extensive knowledge in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, cross browser compatibility and design concepts
• Capable of building static websites using HTML packages
• Must be familiar in using Google Pagespeed or Google Lighthouse for performance testing and resolve issues accordingly
• Substantial experience using code repositories (github, bitbucket, etc) for version control
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with content management system (such as Wordpress, Wix, etc) is a plus
• Knowledge in building HTML emails (for edm functions) is a plus
