Job Role Description
Supports the Group Chef in coordinating and executing the culinary team's functions and tasks.


Key Tasks

  • Sourcing of products and ingredient
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers
  • Assist in events/ catering logistics
  • Collate the business units expense report
  • Maintain records of purchase; utensil, food product/ ingredient
  • Provide general administrative support

Skills and Knowledge

Functional / Technical Experience

  • Previous experience in events/ catering/ cafeteria
  • Food Safety and Hygiene
  • Basic Food Allergens
  • Resourceful and able to work independently
  • Time management, planning and delivery logistics
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attentive, meticulous and problem solving

Educational Qualifications

  • WSQ Food Safety and Hygiene
  • Minimum Diploma in Hospitality or Events Management preferred but not essential
  • Competent in productivity software; Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Collaboration

Personal Character

  • Possesses initiative
  • Being positive, selfmotivated and openminded
  • Professional appearance and attitude
