Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Firmware development for new products or product upgrades according to product requirements

Responsibilities

Work in a multidisciplinary team for cutting-edge medical instrument development
Develop, debug and validate firmware for mechatronic module or subsystem
Identify critical factors for trouble shooting and improve the robustness
Maintain and comply with procedures and SOPs in the course of product development
Design history file documentation
Support verification and validation
Coordinate system integration
Coach and develop junior staff
Any relevant tasks as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's or above degree in electrical/electronic engineering, or a related discipline
More than 5 years' experience in product development.
Must be proficient in C/C++ coding, object-oriented design, firmware development tool chain and version control tool Git
Must be familiar with general buses including I2C, SPI, UART, USB and CANbus
Must be familiar with STM32 MCU, HAL and freeRTOS
Read and understand PCB schemiatics and prepare development document
Skilled in stepper motor control and tuning, familar with Trinamic IC is a plus
Skilled in temperature control, PID algorithm and parameter tuning
Possess knowledge on measurement and calibration and related requirement on firmware implementation
Experienced in working across multidisciplinary team for system integration with broad knowledge across electronics, mechanics, and optics is a plus.
Excellent teamwork and good communication skills
Experience in regulated product development environment on medical device software (IEC62304 and ISO is a plus
