- Directly support our APAC strategic goals around performance data collection and benchmark creation.
- Engage with both existing and new regional and country-specific data partners, such as industry associations to further drive Preqin's brand and relationship with key market players.
- Validate, capture and process data from GPs to create anonymized regional benchmarks, in accordance with Preqin's reporting guidelines.
- Provide support to both Onshore and Offshore teams globally with queries and feedback regarding closed-ended performance profiles.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the closed-ended fund performance dataset through quality assurance checks and data validation.
- Conduct web-research to ensure accurate and timely data collection from online sources.
- Support client-facing teams such as client services, marketing and sales with incoming data requests and data queries via JIRA and other workflow streams.
- Become a subject matter expert of Preqin's global and regional performance dataset, understanding the inner workings of the database and how this translates onto the platform.
- Propose new processes & workflows that can improve existing processes and/or make our data more accurate and efficient.
- Conduct high level analysis to help improve processes, coverage and quality of performance data in the APAC market.
- Support the production of content included within research reports, publications, blogs and presentations.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects across the team to help improve data coverage, quality, and processes.
- In addition to the core requirements of an Associate must have the following;
- A strong understanding of internal performance processes and workflows.
- Experience in answering client data requests & queries.
- Experience in contributing high quality content for research reports, publications and presentations.
- A strong understanding of performance reporting and the alternative assets industry.
- A proactive approach, taking initiative to improve existing processes/workflows and suggest ideas to improve data coverage, quality and/or timeliness.
- Exemplary past performance.
