Our restaurant is looking for
Junior Sous Chef to support the Head and Sous Chef delivering consistently high-quality food


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Consistently offer friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
  • Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all production items according to kitchen recipes and standards
  • Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions in daytoday work
  • Complete daily checks to ensure freshness and quality standards
  • Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimise wastage/spoilage
  • Have full knowledge of all production items
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
  • Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Possess basic culinary skills
  • Possess food hygiene and safety certification
  • Available to work weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive, engaging personality, and team player spirit.
  • Strong task and time management abilities
  • Immediate start work
  • Locals preferred
