    Roles & Responsibilities

    We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team and oversee full spectrum of finance functions for the group of companies in APAC (Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong).

    The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide timely and accurate monthly management and financial reporting pack.
    • Perform monthly accounts review, analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations.
    • Manage budgeting and forecasting process, including cashflow, revenue projections, expense tracking and variance analysis.
    • Prepare consolidation of group financials.
    • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
    • Ensure the accounting books are prepared in compliance with the Company Act and Financial Reporting Standard (FRS).
    • Handle audit, corporate tax filing and GST filing.
    • Ensure statutory compliance (i.e. Company Act, corporate tax, GST).
    • Maintain good documentation and filing system.
    • Maintain effective internal control and process within the group.
    • Drive internal process improvement.
    • Supervise/ provide guidance to finance staff in day-to-day operations.
    • Participate in ERP migration project.
    • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Accountancy/ Finance or related discipline.
    • Proven experience (5 years) in a similar role, preferably in a small to medium-sized company.
    • Good knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxes and relevant regulations.
    • High integrity, meticulous with attention to detail.
    • Good analytical and conceptual skills.
    • Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
    • Strong team player with sense of responsibility, flexible.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems.
