Description

A global energy-efficiency and infrastructure firm is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee the design, development, and implementation of cooling systems and industrial utilities projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on cooling technologies such as HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial water systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of cooling systems and industrial utilities projects (including chilled water, district cooling system, airside systems etc.)
• Manage the full project lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, Construction, and Sales, to develop innovative solutions that meet client requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to cooling systems and industrial utilities.
• Provide technical inputs for CAPEX and OPEX assessments
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members across regional offices
• Review equipment specification and ensure technical compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant disciplines
• Min. 7+ years of design expertise for cooling systems, industrial utilities, or large scale HVAC projects
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, industrial water systems, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
• ESCO accreditation a plus
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards for industrial engineering.
