Senior Analyst, Data Science, Health Services Research Centre:

Posting Date: 25 Jan 2024You will be responsible for the development and documentation of novel solutions, solution requirements/architecture and, when needed, define end user proof-of-concept for pilot solutions, usage models and corresponding technologies in test bed or end user environments.

You will assist in the development of funding proposals, research publications and formal policy documents.

You will engage, manage and drive specific HSR and data analytics projects involving multiple stakeholders within SingHealth as well as academic and/or industry partners and collaborators.

You will also work with end users, implementation scientists and ecosystem partners to deploy solutions, collect data and evaluate outcomes in early pilot implementation environments.

Requirements:

Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or any related computational disciplines or equivalent
At least 3 years of working experience including research experience (health services research preferred) and technical solutions in a relevant data science area.
Familiarity with healthcare database management systems and processes as well as healthcare data governance policies and regulation would be an advantage
Ability to construct conceptual, logical, and physical data models across database platforms, i.e., Traditional RDBMS, Big Data (Hive, HBase), Object Store, and file formats
Knowledge of major programming/scripting language is required (e.g., R/Python, Java, Javascript, Ruby, Julia, PHP).
Knowledge of interfacing with RESTful APIs, cloud services, GitHub
Analytical with strong problemsolving skills, and ability to work with incomplete or imperfect data
Tenacious and driven individual who is forward thinking and a selfmotivator that embraces new challenges and is keen to acquire new knowledge
Must be full vaccinated against COVID19
