Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination**:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all project requirements are understood and executed effectively.
- Identify and allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to support project needs.
- Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, address issues, and provide updates to stakeholders.
2. Risk Management and Mitigation**:
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project activities closely to anticipate and address any deviations from the plan.
- Implement effective risk management techniques to minimize disruptions and ensure project objectives are met.
3. Stakeholder Communication**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables effectively to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Address stakeholder concerns and inquiries promptly, seeking resolutions to maintain positive relationships.
4. Quality Assurance and Control**:
- Establish and enforce quality standards and procedures to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to address any deviations from quality requirements.
5. Budget and Financial Management**:
- Monitor project budgets closely, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Review and approve project expenditures, invoices, and change orders in accordance with established procedures.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields preferred.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction or fire protection industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
