Manufacturing Engineer - Singapore - GES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD
Description
Responsibilities:
- Generate and update Manufacturing Instructions for Production Lines.
- Evaluate and perform first level failure analysis on Production fallouts.
- Production Line setup and equipment planning for new project launch. To define lean manufacturing line layout, sourcing for tooling, fixtures and equipment and prepare CAPEX for NPI build
- Provide DFM and FMEA report for NPI projects.
- Work Improvement or Cycle Time reduction projects.
- Analyzes and plan workstation layout, workflow and conduct IE Time Study.
- Update Manufacturing Instruction (MI) and Work Instruction (WI) SOP for ECN release
- Manage Preventive Maintenance checklists of assembly jigs & fixtures and updating tooling master list. Prepare verification report for the assembly jigs and fixture.
- Follow up on equipment calibration replacement; verify calibration report and updating calibration master list.
- Setting up /updating into shop floor control Data Gating system (DGS) and resolve daytoday DGS routing issue.
- Involve in continuous improvement project
Job Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in Medical Instrumentation Industry, as well as knowledge in US FDA 21 FR.
- Knowledge in Six Sigma/ LEAN Manufacturing and Statistical tools will be an added advantage.
