Position Overview:

As an ETL Informatica Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Informatica-based data integration solutions specifically tailored to the banking domain. You will work closely with our team of developers and business analysts to understand requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Informatica PowerCenter, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts, with extensive experience in the banking industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter mappings, workflows, and sessions to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse, with a focus on banking data.
• Develop ETL processes to cleanse, transform, and integrate banking data from heterogeneous sources.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders in the banking domain to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity, particularly within banking data sets.
• Optimize Informatica workflows and SQL queries for performance and scalability, with a deep understanding of banking data processing requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, performance, and data quality, with a focus on banking-specific challenges.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design documents, data mappings, and ETL specifications, tailored to banking domain requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest Informatica features, best practices, and industry trends, particularly as they relate to banking data integration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience working as an Informatica Developer or similar role.
• Extensive experience (minimum 7 years) working in the banking domain, with a deep understanding of banking data and processes.
• Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter and related tools (PowerExchange, PowerConnect, etc.).
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with SQL, stored procedures, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Familiarity with data integration patterns, methodologies, and best practices, particularly in the banking industry.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex banking data challenges.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
