Job Summary
The Logistics Executive will assist in all aspects of logistics operations within the project.
This role requires good attention to detail and the ability to coordinate and optimize resources to ensure efficient project execution.
The Logistics Executive will collaborate closely with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, as well as efficient transportation and logistics management.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site.
- Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Organize and manage laydown areas efficiently for material storage and accessibility.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in storage areas and facilities.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and protection of materials to prevent damage.
- Collaborate with project team to plan and prioritize logístical activities to meet project deadlines.
- Track and document incoming deliveries, including verifying quantities and inspecting for damages.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, transportation, and other logístical activities using appropriate software or tools.
- Assist in the resolution of logístical issues and communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement measures to minimize risks in logístical operations
Requirements:
- Diploma/Certificate in Logistics or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in logistics management within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management principles and practices.
- Experience in logistics tracking, monitoring, and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance requirements related to construction logistics.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and work in a fastpaced construction environment.
