Responsibilities:

Provide clinical/nursing leadership and expertise through assessing, planning, implementing and evaluation of nursing practice and standards of care for patients
Assume accountability for the overall performance of the unit
Implement clinical nursing standards, policy and procedures and to ensure compliance to the hospital established guidelines and policies
Provide professional clinical expertise and resource for specific nursing and evidencebased practices to evaluate management of care of patients with complex healthcare needs
Provide leadership in the orientation, induction process, coaching and supervision and competency assessment for all new staff
Role model the desired team and leadership behaviours, be a mentor, counsellor and advocate when duty calls
Conduct regular clinical audits and assess clinical competencies to gauge performance and to ensure achievement of targets set and expected competency levels

Job Requirements:

Degree/ Advance Diploma/ Diploma in Nursing
Post-Basic Specialty Certificate/Advanced Diploma in Nursing would be advantageous
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in hospital inpatient clinical settings
Able to work effectively with diverse teams and all levels of employees to achieve positive outcomes
Commit to the required shift arrangements as required
