    Description

    Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive branding strategy for KGSg to enhance its identity and promote a positive corporate and employer brand.
  • Have targeted comms strategy and objectives by stakeholder groups

  • Develop overview of the channels and platforms available, our objectives on each platform
  • Uncover new channels and platforms
  • Branding language, varied by stakeholders and platforms
  • Develop and oversee external and internal communication strategies and content, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across various channels such as mainstream media, LinkedIn, corporate website, Facebook and internal platforms. This includes collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, conduct interviews, and draft engaging and persuasive written look out for opportunities to profile KGSg colleagues/leaders. Example: CNA interviews, industry organisations circulars, awards and nominations
  • Stay up-to-date with digital and social media trends and technologies, identifying and applying relevant strategies to optimize communication efforts. Monitor latest trends and keywords on trade journals and industry platforms, and incorporate accordingly into KGSg's communication strategies and content.
  • Maintain drawer plans and write ups for key thematic areas (e.g. people development, sustainability, innovation, green transition, operational excellence)
  • Oversee the rollout of internal and external publications, such as newsletters, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

  • Prepare press releases, MD speeches and official external speaking engagements, maintaining a consistent and professional tone.
  • Coordinate global townhall programs, group CSR programs and team bonding activities to foster engagement.
  • Manage and execute crisis communication policies and processes, including developing communication plans and responding to media and internal stakeholders.
  • Measure and analyse the effectiveness of communication initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Provide support for other communication-related projects and activities, including exhibitions and trade fairs.
  • Point person for industry organisations
  • Manage PR agency / communications-related vendors
  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications or Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in corporate communications, with a strong focus on developing effective branding and communication strategies and crisis communication management.
  • Experience in the PR agency is a plus.
  • Proficiency in digital media and social media platforms, with the ability to identify and apply current trends and technologies.
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, act as designated spokesperson with media as and when required
  • Proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaborative and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
