Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy

  • Conduct benchmarking, market research and analyses to monitor industry trends and competitor activities to ensure SATS' competitiveness
  • Support the development of new business, operation and commercial models
  • Conduct and/or support menu presentations and key customer meetings
  • Actively seek out business and growth opportunities for new and existing customers
  • Account management for key strategic accounts as required
  • Endtoend project management for new business opportunities including development of business plan, commercial proposal and operations startup
Product & Service Management

  • Act as the product champion for one or more FS products through initiation of regular product profitability reviews, market positioning and distribution channels
  • Work closely with the rest of the Commercial Team to support product and service proposals
  • Support ideation of valueadded customer solutions leveraging on FS' product and service portfolio
Marketing & Events

  • Enhance the SATS brand name through the accreditation of awards and participation in industry conferences, events and publications
  • Content creation to support award submissions and publicity on internal platforms and social media
  • Lead or support FS events
  • Lead or support line marketing activity including initiating customer engagement events, product brand activation and content/art direction for advertorials

Key Requirements

  • University degree or 35 years of relevant experience in business development or strategyrelated role will be preferred
  • Experience in F&B, aviation and/or retail business is preferred
  • Good business/ commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and adapt well to change
  • Curious thinker, keen learner, opportunist and creative that is able to work independently and in teams
  • Willingness to take on a handson role as required
