- Develop computerized layouts for client approval
- Resize design elements to meet client size requirements
- Collaborate with Sales/Clients to confirm layouts and incorporate amendments
- Edit graphics, including photos and illustrations
- Import text and graphics into desktop publishing software
- Position artwork and text on page layout
- Select formatting properties such as text size, column width, and spacing
- Check proofs for errors and make corrections
- Color correct, resize, and convert various file types
- Calibrate digital files for large format inkjet printers
- Liaise with Sales and Printing Department for print preparation
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
- Preferred with 3-5 years of experience in Printing/Advertising
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Eye for details
- Overtime and shift work is required
- Communicate well with Sales / Clients
- Able to guide junior desktop artist
- Able to work as a team
