PURCHASER (Civil Infrastructure experience is preferred)

Purchaser is sought for an International A1 Main Contractor in Singapore. They are specializing in Civil Infrastructure Projects and frequently associated with the pioneering projects in South East Asia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sourcing, evaluation and procurement of materials, price, specification review, renewal and negotiation of rates with suppliers
Raise and create purchase requisitions for procurement of goods/services, as required
Create Purchase Order (PO's), track PO closure and review open PO's.
Maintaining records of goods received and ordered.
Manage suppliers relationship and evaluate performance
Review requested items for requisition and liaise with department supervisors to determine the suitability of the material as well as identify and / or track overdue material requests
Other duties as assigned

PRE-REQUISITES:

-
Diploma/Degree in Procurement Engineering, Civil Engineering or any relevant discipline:

With preferred
MRT/LTA or Civil project experience
With minimum of
25 years' experience:
Knowledge and understanding of construction materialsand specifications
Strong administrative, budgeting and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure
Highly selfmotivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
