Description

Our client, a leading fintech Firm, is looking for multiple Data Engineers (junior to senior) to join their newly established team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Successful candidates will work with cutting-edge technologies and deliver enterprise-level financial data services for global users.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams to understand and communicate business requirements
• Design and build end-to-end ETL pipelines ensuring high reliability and security
• Create and optimize data models for efficient data processing
• Develop and maintain business data products
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools in the data engineering field

Requirements:

• Proficient in creating and maintaining end-to-end ETL pipelines with a focus on reliability and security
• Experience with distributed computing agents such as Hive, Spark, or Flink
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and experience in data modeling and design is a plus
• Strong logical thinking and excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English, Mandarin language skills are highly desirable since some stakeholders are located in China
• Previous experience working with financial data is preferred
• Knowledge of big data architecture design, including data governance and compliance, is a plus
