CONTEXT OF THE JOB
As a Business Developer, you focus on improving the performance of our processes, systems, and tooling.

You do this by translating product and process improvements into value propositions and end-to-end solutions that are consistent with developments in the areas of technology, digitalisation, legislation, and regulations.

You also take into account the requirements and frameworks set by internal and external stakeholders, such as development teams and regulators.

You are able to promote change through the solutions you propose. You clarify how effective improvements in performance, quality, and efficiency can be achieved. You provide advice to relevant internal and external

stakeholders, create support for implementing change and run activities in your discipline.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledge of:


  • The organisation, services, products, processes, systems, and tooling
  • Legislation and regulations, and social and other developments and trends
  • Design management and process management
  • Business and IT architecture
  • Skilled in qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Skilled in process thinking
  • Stakeholder management
  • Advisory skills

Results:


  • Development of vision for sustainable processes for value propositions
  • Project results in line with agreements
  • Suggestions for improvements to processes and propositions (products, services, systems, and tooling)
  • Business analyses supporting the implementation of proposals
  • Improvement in client satisfaction
  • Monitoring and adjustment in the event of deviations in quality
  • Uptodate portfolio of internal and external change initiatives
You are driven to keep on exceeding the expectations of internal and external stakeholders.

You are able to view the bank's processes through the eyes of those stakeholders, and draw on this perspective when working on improvements to the products, processes, and systems for which you are responsible.

You are interested in our stakeholders' world. You keep a close eye on developments in your discipline. You use your knowledge, experience, and creativity to think up and propose improvements with your team.

You provide advice to important stakeholders and win their support for your insights and proposals. You also aim to make the processes more effective, efficient, and cost-effective. When implementing your proposals, you are able to demonstrate an ability to get things done.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • IT related university degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of definition of business requirements, stakeholder management and processes and regulations for market access, clearing, settlement, custody.
  • Knowledge in IT system
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Python
  • General knowledge of ETL process, data engineering & modelling
  • 510 years relevant working experience
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Team player
  • Good analytical skills
  • Result oriented
  • Experience in Agile environment
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira desired
