Legal Counsel - Singapore - Peak Ocean Pte Ltd
Description
Provide legal support and advice to upper management on relevant legal issues- Draft legal documents such as contracts, statements, agreements etc.
- Review and negotiate a wide range of project commercial contracts
- Ensure compliance with the internal controls, statutory regulations and other formalities
- Calculate and handle risks in business process and decision making
- Execute procedures for protecting patents, trademarks, and industrial designs
- Handle litigation
- Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company's legal function
- Review, standardisation, maintaining templates of legal documents
- Ensuring compliance in accordance to constitutions/regulations, statutory and listing rules and code of corporate governance for public listed company
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Law or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Marie/Oil & Gas industry
- Familiar with company law and corporate transactions
- Meticulous and good organisation skills
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Able to work well independently as well as in a team
- IT savvy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$4, $15,331.98 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
