Description

As a leader in Plant Biology, you play a crucial role in setting up the scientific vision and strategy of this venture-backed startup.

You will be leading the science aspect and you are determined to take scientific innovation from the lab to commercialisation success.

• Design, manage and conduct scientific experiments from R&D to product development
• Set up the lab space capabilities aligned with the company objectives and codevelop the scientific & technical vision
• Build and lead a team of scientists to develop the product and ensure a viable & successful gotomarket strategy
• Lead partnerships, communicate and connect with various stakeholders from academics, research institutions, laboratories, investors to large audience

• PhD in Plant Biotechnology, Plant Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology or related fields
• Passion for food & beverage, sustainability and entrepreneurship
• Experience working in plant cell and tissue culture
• Experience leading successfully a diverse and international scientific team
• Prior experience in plant cell fermentation, cellular agriculture or biotech startupis a plus
• Handson attitude, lean communication and entrepreneurial mindset
