    Roles & Responsibilities

    Company Description

    Little Paddington Preschool's vision is to provide a world-class holistic learning space, where children discover their love for learning.

    We are currently teaching about 500 Children across 10 schools in Singapore. We are expanding rapidly and acquiring more brands, so we are currently looking for a Finance Manager who can look after all the brands and join our HQ team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Comfortable with running financial analysis to support the company's strategic decision-making functions.
    • Spearheading and enforcing forecasting and budgeting processes.
    • Collating and coordinating inputs from various departments and counterparties to populate assumptions and structure in financial models.
    • Generating commercial insights from data.
    • Present detailed monthly and quarterly financial reports, and escalate any issues, to senior management.
    • Support preparation of board papers and development of business cases.
    • Liaise and correspond with shareholders directly on queries and information requests.
    • Oversee Singapore corporate tax compliance activities, including liaising with clients, preparing and reviewing tax computations, and submitting tax returns via the IRAS tax portal.
    • Experienced in liaising with external and internal auditors.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

    Experience/Desired Skillset

    • Self-starting approach and positive attitude to contribute.
    • At least 8 years of Financial Planning, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
    • Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills.
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills (including proficient use of Microsoft Excel)
    • Attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy.
    • Experienced in using QuickBooks.
    • Experienced in using QuickHR (or any other HRIS).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (and using tools such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint).
    • Comfort able preparing and analysing large sets of data.

    Educational Qualification

    • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related major or equivalent professional experience is required.
