    Amazon is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to support the highly visible mega events for Amazon Global Selling in South East Asia.

    This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting growing business.

    This individual will be responsible for supporting the strategy and execution of events targeting cross-border e-commerce decision makers in South East Asia.


    You will work closely with the whole Marketing team, business/sales and cross functions to plan and execute events to meet the goals.

    The ideal candidate is a self-driven marketer with proven record of planning and executing impactful events. You should have a hands-on approach with your event management style, and possess excellent project management skills.

    The ideal candidates will be an innovator, communicator and problem solver.

    Candidates will need to be analytical, think and act fast, insist on the highest standards in execution and be apt at finding creative solutions to complex problems.

    Key job responsibilities


    • Manage event marketing content and experience for sellers in South East Asia
    • Manage event budget, results tracking and analysis, and overall event timeline
    • Influence and align event plans and operations across stakeholder groups, including interfacing directly with leadership and business/sales teams.
    • Manage end to end planning and execution of events with operational and logistical excellence; build processes for repeatable and scalable event activities
    • Work with multi-layer stakeholders and external agencies to manage event content and production, speaker selection, agenda, and overall event experience with a seller-obsessed mindset
    • Develop and execute event marketing plans that achieves marketing and shared goals (registrations and attendees, event views, sponsorship etc)

    The Marketplace or "Selling on Amazon" business exists in 18 countries and exceeds more than half of total Amazon unit sales and growing.

    Each year, tens of thousands of businesses join the marketplace adding millions of new products. Amazon's vision is to offer the earth's largest product selection and lowest prices for our customers.

    One way we deliver on this vision is by marketing to local country Sellers to persuade them to launch their products onto the platform thereby maximizing the quantity of items that they list while ensuring the highest quality of product images and information.

    Singapore, SGP

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


    • Currently in your penultimate year and pursuing a Bachelor's degree
    • Expected graduation from May 2025 onwards
    • Able to commit to a full-time internship from July to December 2024
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


    • Proven records of building and executing events
    • Proven success in project management and communication skills
    • Demonstrated track record in developing and crafting marketing content
    • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Digital design experience and understanding for marketing design guidelines
    • Good oral and written communication in another language in South East Asia (e.g. Thai, Bahasa, Tagalog)
    • Past internship experience in marketing preferably in the eCommerce, retail technology, or software industries
