    We are looking to hire a Business Analyst to support our client in Singapore which is a top global investment bank. The incumbent will be supporting multiple countries and regional portfolio delivery, responsible for delivery of APAC Payments and Clearing Projects, mainly for Taiwan region, building solutions across Treasury & Trade domain.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serves as primary contact with Taiwanese vendors and understand vendor contract with technical details in local language.
    • Interprets and understands Regulatory documentation and other related communication received in local language (Simplified & Traditional Chinese) and translate it to English language for Project team's benefit.
    • Active participation in regular calls and email communication with the Project stakeholders (including Business & Technology teams) and application vendor, mainly where the communication is in local language (Simplified / Traditional Chinese).
    • Should have hands-on experience in executing projects related to payment processing (high value/low value), sanctions and payments value chain with sound understanding of APAC clearings schemes.
    • Active participation in Project's end-to-end process including requirement, development, testing and deployment.
    • Plan, organizes, monitors, and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies.
    • Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed.
    • Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Responsible for Change control procedures, updates, and project documents.
    • Work on Global projects involving global stakeholders and technology groups across time zones.
    • Creating/refining business and functional requirements, data analysis, and documentation of existing systems and processes. Having Technical Delivery experience will be a plus.
    • Conduct daily scrum calls, set the priorities and manage backlogs.
    • Coordinate and conduct testing cycles, acceptance criteria, unit testing, QA and user acceptance testing.
    • Support production delivery routines and release weekends.

    Requirements:

    • Past project experience in treasury domain involving application on-boarding, stakeholder management and vendor management.
    • Excellent technical and analytical skills; analyze existing capabilities and identify priority gaps and opportunities.
    • Strong proficiency in Chinese& English for the interpretation and understanding of Regulatory documentation and other related communication received in local language (Simplified & Traditional Chinese) and translate it to English language for Project team's benefit.
    • Active participation in regular calls and email communication with the Project stakeholders (including Business & Technology teams) and application vendor, mainly where the communication is in local language (Simplified / Traditional Chinese).
    • Ability to facilitate requirement sessions with stakeholders and SMEs to create comprehensive requirement documents by decomposing high-level information into functional requirements, user journeys, epics, features and user stories.
    • Active participation in Project's end-to-end process including requirement, development, testing and deployment.
    • Leverage his/her experience and understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software)
    • Determines the impact of modifications and enhancements on the application.
    • Facilitate requirement sessions with stakeholders and SMEs to create comprehensive requirement documents by decomposing high-level information into functional requirements, user journeys, epics, features and user stories.
    • Acts as the product(s) subject matter expert to support scope and requirement decisions.
