Make an Impact by

Oversee 24/7 Operational support for Compute Infrastructure. Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems onprem and on Cloud.
Define the Infrastructure build and operational standards for the infrastructure team, improve automation, and enhance monitoring, faulttolerance, and scalability
The role will also engage in Major Incident management calls, drive the team for Root cause analysis and problem management functions.
Driving the team with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps principles, technologies, platforms, and tools.
Proficiency in understanding complex systems, anticipating problems, and identifying risk mitigation strategies will be crucial for the success in this position
Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by management. Identifies methods for improved operational efficiency and productivity.
Assessing IT Security and compliance risks and front the team in various external and internal Audits.
Act as a player coach for the Subject Matter experts. Track for continuous improvement. Ensure early identification and resolution of challenges impacting BAU systems

Skills for Success

Minimum 15 years' experience in Enterprise level IT Infrastructure Management.
At least 5 years of experience in a Lead position, managing a team of SME's within an IT organization responsible for 24/7 Production support and Infrastructure Engineering.
Proficient and Subject Matter Expertise in various operating systems Technologies such as RHEL, Windows, AIX, Solaris etc.
Strong Handson expertise in infrastructure and software technologies, such as Operating-Systems (AIX, Solaris, Windows, Linux, and VMware)
Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Data Centre network architectures, enterprise design and industry standards relevant to data communications / networking and computing.
Knowledge in enterprise level SAN technologies.
Well versed in managing systems in Azure cloud.
Extensive familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps principles, technologies, platforms, and tools.
Good understanding of Infrastructure tools within the Data Centre environment
Experience in dealing with vendors on technology and services.
ITIL certified and conversant in ITSM.
