    Description

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Work closely with, and execute trades for, portfolio managers and/or the company's clients across different asset classes and trading strategies.
    • Conduct research and analysis of financial markets including, but not limited to Public Equities, Private Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Fund of Funds, and other related financial products.
    • Stay informed about market trends, news, and economic indicators.
    • Book trades, and monitor positions and risks in the portfolios using various banks/brokerage platforms adopted by the company.
    • Monitor trade execution, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    • Monitor uptime and performance, investigate technical issues of algorithmic trading strategies
    • Maintain trading counterparty and broker relationships.
    • Liaise with Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Risk teams to resolve any issues, including trading-related needs and ensuring correctness of trade bookings and allocations for multiple accounts.
    • Monitor price movement, liquidity, and fund flow.
    • May need to adapt working hours to align with different market time zones, depending on portfolio requirements.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business and management, Finance, Economics, or its equivalent.
    • Proficiency in English for effective verbal and written communication.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is a must
    • Working knowledge or experience in coding to do data analysis is a plus
    • Meticulous with numbers, and efficient with good time management
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
    • Knowledge of Financial Markets with a strong quantitative background is preferred.
