Our client is a global U.S. law firm looking for a
private investment fund formation lawyer to join their global funds practice based in Singapore.

As member of the investment funds team, your key responsibilities would include, but not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal counsel and guidance to clients on various matters related to private funds, including fund structuring, formation, and compliance.

Fund Documentation: Draft and review fund documentation, including limited partnership agreements, offering memoranda, and side letters, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations impacting the private funds industry and ensure that clients remain compliant with these requirements.

Transactional Support: Assist in negotiating and structuring fund investments, secondary transactions, and co-investments.

Requirements:

4 to 8 years of PQE,
Strong Private Funds experience gained from top tier local/international law firms
Upstream Funds experience would be strongly preferred
Funds Regulatory knowledge would be a bonus
