Windows/VMWare Engineer - Patching and Vulnerability Management

Main purpose of the role:
To be responsible for the patching and vulnerability management of all Windows Server, VMWare ESXi.

Roles & Responsibilities

System Administration of Windows/VMWare environment:
Knowledge of Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Servers, VMWare ESXi (Must Have)
Knowledge on Active Directory Management (OU/GPO/Forest and domain config and etc)

Hyper-V / Vmware

Deployment and management of hyper V VMs (Must Have)
Patch management and Vulnerability Management (Must Have)
Troubleshooting skills in OS & VMWare related issues (Must Have)
Extensive Experience in ESXi patching.
Experience on Patch management tools like BigFix, SCCM etc.
Perform Patch assessment and recommend/plan deployment.
Experience on Automation of Pre and Post patching tasks.
Handon knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.) ( Should have basic knowledge)
Knowledge on Clustering (geo cluster, multinodes passive/active) ( Should have basic knowledge)
Bios upgrades and firmware upgrades.
Knowledge on server management tools
Log monitoring/maintenance

Skills Required:

69 years of Experience in Windows System Administration
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal Skills.
Ability to work in a flexible, teamoriented and constantly changing environment
Able to work on weekends as per Roster and perform Oncall support (during weekdays) as and when needed.
