- Manage the day-to-day finance and accounting functions of the Company and its subsidiaries and joint ventures.
- Review monthly consolidated accounts for group of subsidiaries and joint ventures.
- Develop disclosure packs for group of subsidiaries and joint ventures
- Review intercompany transactions and monthly reconciliations, and ensure proper documentation are in place as well as timely settlements.
- Review monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts and ensure timely actions are taken.
- Act as a key liaison for external audit including liaising with overseas finance teams and auditors for overseas audits.
- Review required schedules/reports for yearly audit and tax purpose.
- Review tax computations and filing submissions on periodic basis.
- Keep abreast of developments in accounting standards and tax regulations, and provide advice on the implications and appropriate treatments for the Group.
- Support Finance Director in the review of transfer pricing implications for related parties transactions and develop effective transfer pricing strategies.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls in accounting processes and financial systems
- Identify and recommend automation and digitalisation initiatives (including financial system upgrade) to enhance efficiency within Finance and across departments. Requirements
- Qualified Accountant and Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance
- More than 10 years of relevant experience preferably in asset management or real estate industry and with prior Big 4 audit experience
- Strong technical knowledge on financial reporting standards, taxation and consolidation principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and stakeholders across the organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
