Description

Our client is a developer and investor in the Industrial/ Logistics sector and provides flexible and innovative customer-focused solutions for specialty commercial and industrial real-estate development and investment. They are looking to hire a Senior Manager, Accouting in Singapore to oversee accounting, financial reporting and tax functions.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day finance and accounting functions of the Company and its subsidiaries and joint ventures.

Review monthly consolidated accounts for group of subsidiaries and joint ventures.

Develop disclosure packs for group of subsidiaries and joint ventures

Review intercompany transactions and monthly reconciliations, and ensure proper documentation are in place as well as timely settlements.

Review monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts and ensure timely actions are taken.

Act as a key liaison for external audit including liaising with overseas finance teams and auditors for overseas audits.

Review required schedules/reports for yearly audit and tax purpose.

Review tax computations and filing submissions on periodic basis.

Keep abreast of developments in accounting standards and tax regulations, and provide advice on the implications and appropriate treatments for the Group.

Support Finance Director in the review of transfer pricing implications for related parties transactions and develop effective transfer pricing strategies.

Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

Implement and maintain effective internal controls in accounting processes and financial systems

Identify and recommend automation and digitalisation initiatives (including financial system upgrade) to enhance efficiency within Finance and across departments. Requirements

Qualified Accountant and Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance

More than 10 years of relevant experience preferably in asset management or real estate industry and with prior Big 4 audit experience

Strong technical knowledge on financial reporting standards, taxation and consolidation principles

Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and stakeholders across the organization.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Attention to detail, accuracy, quality, and integrity.
