    Description

    Our client is a developer and investor in the Industrial/ Logistics sector and provides flexible and innovative customer-focused solutions for specialty commercial and industrial real-estate development and investment. They are looking to hire a Senior Manager, Accouting in Singapore to oversee accounting, financial reporting and tax functions.

    Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day finance and accounting functions of the Company and its subsidiaries and joint ventures.
  • Review monthly consolidated accounts for group of subsidiaries and joint ventures.
  • Develop disclosure packs for group of subsidiaries and joint ventures
  • Review intercompany transactions and monthly reconciliations, and ensure proper documentation are in place as well as timely settlements.
  • Review monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts and ensure timely actions are taken.
  • Act as a key liaison for external audit including liaising with overseas finance teams and auditors for overseas audits.
  • Review required schedules/reports for yearly audit and tax purpose.
  • Review tax computations and filing submissions on periodic basis.
  • Keep abreast of developments in accounting standards and tax regulations, and provide advice on the implications and appropriate treatments for the Group.
  • Support Finance Director in the review of transfer pricing implications for related parties transactions and develop effective transfer pricing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls in accounting processes and financial systems
  • Identify and recommend automation and digitalisation initiatives (including financial system upgrade) to enhance efficiency within Finance and across departments. Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant and Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • More than 10 years of relevant experience preferably in asset management or real estate industry and with prior Big 4 audit experience
  • Strong technical knowledge on financial reporting standards, taxation and consolidation principles
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, quality, and integrity.
