Description
Job Summary
Perform the full spectrum of HR generalist role relating to the entire employee life cycle; including talent acquisition, onboarding / offboarding, compensation and benefits, learning and development, performance management, HR Information Systems (HRIS), associate relations, HR reports and analytics.
Core Work Activities
HR Policy & Procedures
- Assist in writing and updating HR policy and procedures for Singapore, including proofreading and editing written information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in putting all Local Standard Operating Procedures (LSOPs) into standard template for Singapore.
- Maintain and update the contents of the LSOPs in the Integrated Hub
- HR folder.
- Maintain HR records and documents in HR Sharepoint.
- Assist in preparation for HR Audit.
HR Reports & Analytics
- Prepare quarterly, monthly and adhoc HR reports, which include Headcount, Attrition, etc.
- Maintain HR reports in HR folder.
- Analyze HR data and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Identify common HR reports from Workday and other sources to improve on HR operational efficiencies.
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the LinkedIn job slots allocation / tracker for Asia Pacific region.
- Maintain and update Job Description bank for Singapore in the HR folder.
Compensation & Benefits
- Assist in compensation and benefits surveys and analysis exercises.
- Assist in preparation of job offer salary proposal for assigned departments.
Human Resources Information System (HRIS) - Workday
- Point of support for general Workday questions for Singapore.
- Assist in developing Workday task aids.
Learning, Development and Performance Management
- Manage and conduct new hire orientation for all new hires.
- Ensure the HR orientation deck is constantly refreshed and up to date with Corporate HR.
- Assist in coordination of Performance Management (Touchpoint) process.
Associate Relations and Engagement
- Assist ADHR and HR Managers in the Associate Engagement Survey process and administration.
- Manage the Exit Interview Process.
- Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other associates and departments.
- Actively listen to and consider the concerns of other associates, responding appropriately and effectively.
- Handle sensitive issues with associates with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Partner with and assist others in HR team to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.
Payroll
- Prepare and coordinate with Finance-Payroll on the monthly payroll administration process.
Human Resources Project
- Provide support in HR projects and assignments for Singapore and Asia Pacific Region if required.
Office Administration
- Provide office administration support for the Singapore office.
Others
- Provide support to Human Resources Manager/HR Business Partner in day to day operations.
- Perform all tasks in a timely manner ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Be proactive and have a flexible approach to work to support the needs of the team and the business.
- Maintain an attitude and commitment to provide excellent HR operational service to all associates.
- Maintain working knowledge of computer systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Comply with MVCI and Marriott Vacations Worldwide policies and procedures.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by ADHR and HR Manager.
- Degree holder in Human Resources or relevant business field with 2 years' Human Resources experience or
- Diploma holder with minimum 5 years' HR experience.
- Proven experience as a HR Executive
- Experience working in the Timeshare industry an advantage
