Your Purpose:
You will play an instrumental role in enabling the successful implementation of the business vertical's growth strategy, through the effective execution of portfolio projects delivered on time, and in accordance with the planned spending, output, and quality goals.
- Plan and strategize to identify, scope, and execute projects to translate the Vertical strategy into actionable plans.
- Coordinate between the different stakeholders within the organization to develop the most effective and efficient portfolio of projects to successfully execute the Vertical strategy.
- Evaluate and formally close projects or lower strategic fit.
- Works across a range of stakeholders to plan, prepare and lead all processes and communications within the business vertical.
- Ensure proactive action planning, control, and followup between gates to ensure projects track to plan.
Pre-requisites:
- Degree in Project Management or Engineering discipline, or with substantial relevant experience
- Certification in Experience in PM Software (MS Project, Oracle Primavera, PgMP, PfMP, Prince 2, SCRUM)
- Significant experience in the development and delivery of largescale industrial CAPEX Projects
- Relevant experience in the Waste Management Industry and delivering projects in infrastructure, logistics, and digital capability development is preferred
- Strategic Mindset combined with a handson drive to execute projects
- Experience in bidding and executing large complex international government tenders would be advantageous
- Pioneer mindset with entrepreneurial flair
- Excellent leadership, coordination and people skills
