Import/export Assistant - Singapore - SEKO LOGISTICS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Handle day to day operations independently
- Key in cargo details and ensure payment/invoice from suppliers/customers are input into the computer system
- Responsible for all shipping documents (preparing Bill of Lading/Delivery Order, documentation, invoicing, permits for shipping purposes)
- Liaison with multiple parties including customers, carriers, hauliers, overseas agents etc for freight handling and / or other matters.
- Tracking shipments to ensure that they arrive at their origin/destinations in a precise and timely manner.
- Adhoc duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Min GCE 'O'
- Preferably with shipping knowledge
- Able to work under pressure, ability to meet dateline
- Good customer service orientation
- Fluent in written and spoken English
