ExxonMobil in Singapore
ExxonMobil is one of Singapore's largest foreign manufacturing investors with over S$25 billion in fixed asset investments.


We have manufacturing facilities that include an integrated world-scale refining and petrochemical complex in Jurong and Jurong Island, a network of service stations under the Esso brand, operate a lubricant plant and are a supplier of cylinder cooking gas.

ExxonMobil provides customers and commercial markets in the region with ground transportation, industrial, aviation and marine fuels, lubricants, petrochemicals and liquefied natural gas (LNG).


As Singapore serves as the AP hub for some of our businesses, we employ about 3,500 people across positions in operations, projects, commercial, corporate support functions and others.

ExxonMobil also contributes to community programs in Singapore that support the arts, education, health and the environment.


What you will do

  • Lead, develop and execute communications and external stakeholder engagement strategies and activities to maintain and/or enhance the company's reputation and external stakeholder relationships
  • Cultivate and maintain good relations with key members in the community, regulatory and government stakeholders to build and reinforce ExxonMobil's standing and brand
  • Lead / support facility visits and support external communications efforts, and internal communications and employee engagement activities
  • Lead the organization of community events, collaborate with community partners, shape strategy for community engagement and lead / coordinate employee community outreach programs and events
  • Provide counsel and support for crisis management and communications
  • Assist in the development or review of business strategy and communications materials, including speeches, employee communications and regulatory submissions

About you

Skills and Qualifications

  • A good Bachelor's degree, with at least 5 years of experience in government, public policy, communications, journalism, public relations or related fields.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Action and solutionsoriented, good project management skills, strong critical thinking capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, with good time management and organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Adaptable and open to deployment to different job roles in the department over career span
