JOB SUMMARY

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing daily business operation by developing processes, overseeing subordinates, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes.
  • Managing department budget by planning, controlling, analyzing, and report to Senior General Manager and Japan HQ on the monthly and yearly budget reports.
  • Developing and implementing growth strategies which are aligned with HQ Division's goal & direction.
  • Recruit, on board, and train highperforming subordinates to achieve objectives for sales, profitability.
  • Collaborating with different stakeholder, both internal & external to seek out opportunities of global trading as well as project investment in Chemical & Plastic Sector for expansion and growth in Asia & Oceania Region.
  • Gathering information, preparation of materials, and related information necessary for meetings attended by the Senior General Manager on request basis.

JOB SPECIFICATION

  • A minimum of 1015 years of relevant experience in the Chemical & Plastic Industry with at least 8 years of experience holding a management position is preferred.
  • Degree in business management, MBA is preferred. Strong financial knowledge with ability to fully understand financial report and make business decisions from financial perspective.
  • Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 or equivalent is required as documentation and reporting on investment opportunities / results will be in Japanese for HQ in Japan to evaluate.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in crossborder trading & investments involving countries in the Asia & Oceania region.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle several datelines, making important decisions and overall working in a high paced environment.
  • Innovative and creative applicant that can come up with innovative and creative solutions to existing and new problems.
