Our Client

Our client is a REITs Firm and they are now seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join their team in Singapore.

The Role

Draft, review, negotiate and advise internal stakeholders and negotiate with external counterparts on a variety of commercial agreements, including third party agreements, operations agreements, services agreements, partnerships, and marketing agreements
Develop and implement processes for efficient and streamlined operations surrounding contract negotiation and processes
Develop and maintain precedent agreements, contract management systems, and other databases
Identify and advise on legal risks in connection with the development of new products
Organize and conduct periodic compliance reviews pertaining to the Financial Advisors Act, MAS Notices and Guidelines.
Develop/review policies and procedures including manuals on local regulations
To assist in MAS reporting and notification.
Maintain regulatory relationship with MAS and respond to queries from MAS
Assist Compliance Manager on all regulatory compliance matters to discharge duties as and when required.
Liaise with internal/external auditors on regulatory matters.

To Qualify

Full-Time position(s) available.
Preferably Managers specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
Admission to the Commonwealth Bar / LLB is a must
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Inhouse legal experience is a plus
