Description

• Work closely with the data team and cross-functional departments to grasp business needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms to support agricultural decisions and operations.
• Conduct thorough data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering to ensure data quality and readiness for analysis.
• Design and implement efficient data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to streamline data flow and accessibility.
• Create impactful visualizations and reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and contributing to informed decision-making.
• Engage in the setup and maintenance of hardware and networking infrastructure to support data engineering tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
• Solid grasp of machine learning concepts and experience in developing predictive models.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with strong skills in data manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and a good understanding of their application in solving real-world problems.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with database systems for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
