    Roles & Responsibilities

    On behalf of one of its clients, a leader in the extractive and mining industry company, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a General accountant.

    Responsabilities :

    Ensure the administration of the office

    Ensure the correctness of the bookkeeping with accounting service provider

    Guarantee observance of the regulations in force in terms of taxation and accounting. Assure the local tax and legal compliance of the subsidiary with consultants

    Elaborate periodical or specific reports, clarifying facts or providing analyses that contain useful information for the corporation, with the aim of communicating significant details or events

    Oversee Inventory records, payment to suppliers and in charge of invoicing to customers

    Provide the correct feedback to the SGM of the cash flow issues and movements

    Control supplier payments and manage collections

    Assist in the budget & forecast process

    Review periodic billings for completeness and accuracy

    Prepare and maintain periodic ageings of accounts receivable

    Follow up and ensure timely collection on all past due accounts receivable, in coordination with Subsidiary General Manager

    Prepare the monthly reporting (SAP business object, P&L, WC, Cash) and analysis required both by GM and the APAC Finance

    Comply with Company's Policies, procedures and processes (for example, Investment request), ensure the group policy implementation on CAPEX/inventory

    This job definition contents the main duties and responsibilities, but the employee could meet other tasks as may be assigned by his/her superior at the same level of competence and/or responsibility.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required

    3 to 5 years of experience in Finance (especially in accounting)

    Chemical, Manufacturing or Industrial sector experience will be a plus

    Knowledge of finance, accounting (IFRS will be a plus), operational process, budgeting

    Knowledge of local financial regulations will be a plus

    Advanced excel skills

    Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.

    Excellent oral and written in English, other languages are valued

    Attention to accuracy and detail required

    Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and sense of urgency

    Strategic and business vision.
