Job Scope:
- Prepare resources for classes.
- Identify students' needs and work to help each child develop to his or her own potential.
- Prepare students for yearly dance examinations.
- Choreograph for school events such as yearly concert, competitions and media productions, including selecting accompanying music and coordinating costume.
- Training and preparing students for dance competitions.
- Participate in the planning and execution of school events such as recitals, public performances, competitions, exam open house and media production.
- Attend professional development sessions to improve his/her teaching methods.
Requirements:
- Minimum CSTD Advanced Certificate of Achievement or Dance Diploma equivalent.
- Able to teach both CSTD Ballet and Jazz syllabus.
- Teaching experience and competition experiences as an instructor or solo competitor preferred.
- Able to teach multiple genres such as Contemporary and Acrobatics an advantage.
