- Responsible for module development, delivery, project supervision, assessment setting and marking for both full time and part-time courses
- Design, develop teaching materials (including eLearning) and teach subjects for Excel and Power BI
- Supervise poly-wide projects as well as off-campus projects with the industry
- Participate in the delivery of outreach activities to market the school and courses to potential learners
- Develop students and provide pastoral care and career guidance to students (including internships)
- Plan, design and develop IT solutions for School of Business Management's needs in analytic projects, web applications, eLearning and multimedia presentations
- Relevant qualification in Computer Science, IT or Business related discipline
- At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience in IT project management in areas such as data analytics, web applications and eLearning
- Possess good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Database Management Systems, Agile methodologies, web analytics and data analytics tools
- Possess good communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Possess good knowledge of AWS platform and tools offering
- Candidate should possess relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Data Analytics projects involving design, collection, analysis and presentation of market/industry related data using MS Excel, Tableau or other relevant data analytics software Design, review, implement or manage IT projects involving databases and dynamic websites
- Candidate must possess the relevant experience: Legacy System Migration: Proficiency in migrating and rolling out legacy systems (e.g., VB+SQL) to modern platforms. Cloud Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, including setup, configuration, and optimization. Database Management: Strong knowledge in SQL database management, migration, and optimization. Software Development: Understanding of Visual Basic (VB) programming and its migration to cloud-compatible languages. Project Management: Proven track record in managing migration projects from inception to completion, ensuring smooth transition with minimal downtime. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues, ensuring data integrity and system performance post-migration. Collaboration: Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration and rollout. Communication: Strong communication skills, capable of documenting migration processes and training team members on new systems and platforms.
